Please notice that the Roman numbers indicate the tones. The dots (actually they are
little circles) above the roman numbers indicate Fan Yin (harmonic) and the bars are just to
help you to separate the phrases a little bit. In other words, it will
be like a comma in a sentence. For example: la so so, re mi so, la so so, re mi
so, re mi so, la so so ...
However, guqin notation does not give the exact speed indication which I think is the beauty of guqin music. You can play it with your own feel of speed.
